This is beautiful—perhaps love allows us to shed our masks, drop that shield, so we can see ourselves too. It makes us feel worthy, worthy of our own love, enabling forgiveness, compassion, and kindness toward ourselves and others. When you truly love, you begin to love everything and see beauty everywhere. Love is the gateway to divinity. It’s not about imagining what isn’t there but about pausing to notice the details you once overlooked—like standing by a lake and, over time, letting your eyes adjust to the depths beneath the surface. There is so much more to life that is there if you go past the surface. Life becomes so much richer.
